Catholic Church Forbids Fr Mbaka From Commenting On ‘Partisan Politics’..
The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministries Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has been interdicted by the Catholic Church from sharing his thoughts on partisan politics.
In a letter dated June 3, 2021, the Catholic bishop of Enugu Diocese Callistus Onaga revealed the ban to the Enugu-based catholic priest. Fr. Mbaka’s adoration ministry was also changed to chaplaincy.
The letter also states that Mbaka remains in charge of the chaplaincy, but the bishop (Onaga) has the authority to appoint any ministerial officer “to assist the chaplains in overseeing the pastoral activities of the ministry.”
The ban follows the uproar caused by the recent disappearance and reappearance of Fr.
Mbaka, which also resulted in the closure of his Adoration Ministry, had asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign or face impeachment.

This notice made available on Tuesday May 11 to members of the ministry was to direct them to observe this one-month private prayer retreat.
