Takeoff, a Kirsnick Khari ball, was killed and taken to the Houston bowling alley with his uncle Quavo earlier this month.

Quavo, his uncle, and Offset, his cousin, rose to fame in the hip-hop trio Migos with him and took to the stage along with prominent figures to pay respects to Takeoff at Takeoff’s funeral.

According to TMZ, Drake gave an emotional eulogy comparing himself to Migos and the Rat Pack.

As mourners gathered at the State Farm Arena, Takeoff’s memorial was honoured with musical performances by superstars like Justin Bieber or Chloe Bailey.

Drake’s eulogy praised Takeoff for being ‘forever balanced’. He had this wonderful thing about him: he always took off his sunglasses, and he looked wide-eyed, no matter what was happening around him.

Quavo’s eulogy recalled how Takeoff had been by his side since childhood. He looked up at him with the same eyes that you have as my sister. You were waiting for me to make the next move, and then you followed me right behind. You made sure I did it first so that you could do it with me.

Quavo was only three years older than Takeoff. He recalled, “You never competed against me.” You hated playing against me, so we were always on the same team. I could hear Momma saying, “Not too rough, boy,” ’cause I ain’t afraid to lose.”

He was reminded that Takeoff and his ‘first dream’ were not to enter the music business but to be ‘tag-team members in the WWE.

Offset was there with Cardi B and was overcome with emotion as he spoke out in tribute to his cousin, who said he had ‘changed music forever.

He begged God for strength for his family, saying: “I don’t want to question you, God. I just don’t get it.” I don’t get you sometimes.’

Pierre’ Pastor’ Thomas and Kevin’ Coach K’ Lee, hip-hop moguls who launched Migos, gave speeches. Takeoff’s mother, Takeoff, and his siblings also spoke.

Chloe Bailey performed a Beyonce song, while Andre Dickens, the Mayor of Atlanta, presented a civil award to the rapper.

Justin Bieber sang an acoustic version 2021 of Ghost. However, CNN reported that only one piano was his accompaniment.

“Since the love you left is all I get,” the lyrics read: “I want you to understand that if you can’t be near me, I’ll settle with the ghost of your.” Your memory is my ecstasy, and I miss you more than life.

Yolanda Adams, a gospel singer, performed the song “The Battle Is The Lord’s”, which is a number that takes its title from the Old Testament’s first book of Samuel.

A host of VIPs attended the funeral at State Farm Arena, including Teyana Taylor, who worked with Migos to write Drippin. CeeLo Green, who was featured on Offset’s solo song North Star, was also present.
