Conte joined Spurs in November when everyone thought he was moving to Manchester United.
Tottenham is in their second straight season without Champions League football and the Italian boss is hoping to build a squad in his image.
But so far no signing has arrived at Spurs and no player has left either and O’Hara believes this is making the former Chelsea boss increasingly irritated.
“Have you noticed his interviews are getting a little bit touchy and spicy?” O’Hara told talkSPORT.
“I think we need to make some signings, massively… some of the players are just not good enough and the fans are turning on them.
“You’ve got a world-class manager so the whole highlight goes on the players and some of them are just not at the races.
