“I Regret It” | Nasty C Reveals How He Blew His First Million Rands
Nasty C is probably one of the biggest South African rappers to storm the international stage.
He first blew up in 2016 at 19 when he dropped his megahit Juice Back, which preceded a remix featuring Nigerian superstar Davido and fellow SA rapper Cassper Nyovest.
After his career rocketed, loads of money started rolling in for Nasty C and soon enough, he got his first R1 million paycheque.
The rapper will always remember the memory, even though it is one he wishes to forget.
Nasty C is currently in New York in the United States, where he has been spending most of his time of late, and he had an interview with Siage Jones.
Nasty C revealed how he blew his first million, and he’s not really proud of it, even though he spent some of it on something meaningful and smart.
The SMA hitmaker first bought an apartment. He revealed that he leased out the building, and he still has it to this day.
After the apartment, he decided to spoil himself. After all, it was his first big bag, and he had worked hard to earn it.
Nasty C got himself a luxurious 18-karat yellow gold Rolex watch worth a hefty R448 000.
“My terrible one was buying an expensive watch. I wanted a Rolex. I wanted that kind of satisfaction. It wasn’t necessary; it was stupid. I got robbed, it was like a house invasion, and I’m just like, man, that was dumb.”
The Rapper was left shaken after he and four others were tied up and held at gunpoint at his home in Roodekraans, Johannesburg, in September 2017.
After tying the victims up, the suspects robbed them of their valuables which included laptops, tablets, cell phones and the Rolex watch.
