The Iconic actress, filmmaker and businesswoman yesterday afternoon jetted into the country on her maiden Zimbabwean visit.

As part of her itinerary visit, Connie Ferguson attended her welcome dinner which was hosted in her honour at the Meilkes Hotel. Like the queen she is,  Connie Ferguson was treated as royalty.

Connie Ferguson got to meet with different stakeholders at the high-level networking dinner hosted by Zodwa Mkandla.

Speaking during her welcome speech, Connie Ferguson thanked Zimbabweans for welcoming her. She revealed that this was her first visit to Zimbabwe but assured everyone that this will not be her last visit.

Besides the speeches and networking, fun was had as attendees also got to take to the dancefloor.

Meanwhile, Connie Ferguson today is expected to address a Women in Business conference in partnership with Nedbank.

She is also expected to visit Emerald Hill Children’s Home together with the Zodwa Mkandla Foundation as part of her appreciation of philanthropic initiatives.

Ferguson will wrap up her programme with a Zumba Masterclass session with acclaimed fitness trainer Zorro as part of a drive to encourage fitness and wellness through physical exercise.
