Maplestory Ignition

With Ignition, launched on November 16th and featured a level cap increase to 250, a revamp of the Cygnus Knight class, and a tonne of events like the Fireworks Festival Parade and Monster Park Extreme, MapleStory has just turned up the heat for its late fall release.

There is now a “warm-up” event that encourages monster hunting with incentives like pets, clothes, and Maple Points in order to get players ready for the patch.

The year’s final patch won’t be this one, though: “Return in December for the second installment of 2022’s winter improvements! Explore the enigmatic laboratory Odium hidden away in the clouds, enjoy a brand-new lineup of Fireworks Festival Parade activities, and more! These are some of the patch notes. Noblesse

Common Noblesse Skills

  • Imperial Recall: Return to the Empress using Shinsoo’s power.

  • Echo of Hero: Increases the Attack Power and Magic ATT of all nearby characters.

  • Noble Mind: Enhances Empress’s Blessing effects.

  • Elemental Slash: Attack enemies in front of you with pure, primal energy.

  • Elemental Shift: Jump in any direction, except down, by pressing a direction key plus the jump key in midair.

  • Elemental Harmony: Use the harmony of nature to  build affinity for an element of your choosing.

Dawn Warrior

1st Job Skills

  • Rising Sun: Allows you to use Solar skills by putting the power of sunlight in the sword. Can be toggled On/Off. Level 10 required to learn Equinox Cycle. Rising Sun/Falling Moon Character Stance Lock: Right Click.

  • Falling Moon: Allows you to use Luna skills by receiving the power of the moonlight in the sword. Does not apply to summoning skills, 5th Job Common Skills, or certain other skills. SP is not required for this skill, and it follows the skill level of Rising Sun. Can be toggled On/Off. Level 10 required to learn Equinox Cycle.

  • Solar Slash: Attacks multiple enemies in front with swordsmanship that could cleave the sun. Required Skill: Rising Sun/Falling Moon Lv. 1. Level 20 required to learn Celestial Vision.

  • Soul Element: Summons a light element to gain its power. Chance to obtain cosmic orb when the Solar/Luna skill opposite to the previous skill that was used lands a hit. Temporarily increases Attack Power when a cosmic orb is created. Can be toggled On/Off. Level 10 required to learn Soul Blessing.

  • Soul of the Guardian: Call forth the ancients to defend yourself.

  • Inner Voice: Strengthens the soul and empowers the body.

  • Soul Leap: Leap once more while already in the air. Press the up key at the same time to move upward. SP is not required for this skill, and it can be used upon job advancing to Dawn Warrior.

  • Cosmic Matter: Launches condensed dark matter in front of you. If the dark matter attacks all attackable targets or reaches max range, it explodes to deal damage to nearby enemies. Consumes all cosmic orbs upon use, and deals more powerful damage based on the number of cosmic orbs consumed. Required Skill: Soul Element Lv. 10.

  • Equinox Cycle: Reconfigures the solar and lunar cycles to automatically change stances when using Solar/Luna skills. Additionally enhances the effect of Rising Sun and Falling Moon. Overwrites the effect of Rising Sun and Falling Moon. Can be toggled On/Off. Required Skill: Rising Sun/Falling Moon Lv. 10. Level 10 required to learn Equinox Mastery and Equinox Slash.

  • Soul Blessing: Enhances Soul Element with a burning passion. Combines with the effect of Soul Element. Required Skill: Soul Element Lv. 10. Level 10 required to learn Soul Blessing II.

  • Soul Speed: Increases Attack Speed and Strength. Required Skill: Sword Mastery Lv. 5.

  • Divine Hand: Perform an accurate strike with your unshakable faith.

  • Sword Mastery: Increases One-Handed and Two-Handed Sword Mastery. Level 10 required to learn Student of the Blade.

  • Physical Training: Permanently increases STR and DEX through sheer physical training.

  • Equinox Mastery: Enhances the effect of Rising Sun and Falling Moon by training the sun and moon swordsmanship. Overwrites the effect of Rising Sun and Falling Moon. Required Skill: Equinox Cycle Lv. 20. Level 20 required to learn Master of the Sword.

  • Will of Steel: It takes a strong mind to push through hardships.

  • Inner Voice: Focus your mind to reinvigorate your body.

4th Job Skills

  • Call of Cygnus: Grants the blessings of Cygnus’s awakening to temporarily increase all stats for you and your party members. Does not stack with Maple Warrior, Call of Cygnus, Nova Warrior, Hero of the Flora, President’s Orders, Anima Warrior, or Rhinne’s Protection.

  • Cygnus Knights’ Will: Hone your resolve to ignore certain abnormal status effects. Immune to most abnormal status effects for 3 sec after use. Certain abnormal status effects and combat orders will still get through.

  • Celestial Vision III: Enhances Solar Slash and Luna Divide by commanding the perfect celestial swordsmanship. Required Skill: Celestial Vision II Lv. 20.

  • Cosmic Burst: Releases cosmic orbs to attack. Consumes all cosmic orbs upon use, and decreases cooldown based on the number of cosmic orbs consumed. Cosmic Burst can be used without casting motion during Solar Slash, Luna Divide, and Styx Crossing. The released cosmic orbs target the boss with the highest HP first, and is unaffected by attack reflection. Cosmic Burst is not affected by effects which reset or reduce cooldown. In Auto Mode, Cosmic Burst is used automatically when it’s not on cooldown and cosmic orb is at max, upon landing Solar Slash, Luna Divide, or Styx Crossing. Required Skill: Soul Element Lv. 10. Auto Mode On/Off: Right-click.

  • Equinox Slash: Call forth the ancients to defend yourself.

  • Impaling Rays: Summons swords from the sky to impale your enemies. Affects bosses.

  • Soul Blessing III: Enhances Soul Element by raising the power of the soul to the extreme. Combines the effect of Soul Element, Soul Blessing, and Soul Blessing II. Combat Orders doesn’t apply. Required Skill: Soul Blessing II Lv. 10.

  • Soul Pledge: Form a contract with the ancients to become an unwavering warrior.

  • Student of the Blade: Increases the Mastery, Attack Power, and Critical Damage of One-Handed and Two-Handed Swords. Required Skill: Sword Master Lv. 10.

  • Unpredictable: Attack with an unpredictable strike, negating enemy defenses.

  • Master of the Sword: You become a master of the sword, mastering both types of powers. Additionally enhances the effect of Rising Sun and Falling Moon, and the effect of Rising Sun and Falling Moon activates at the same time during Equinox Cycle. Overwrites the effect of Rising Sun and Falling Moon. Required Skill: Equinox Mastery Lv. 20.

The following skills will be removed:

Hyper Skills

  • True Sight – Persist: Increases True Sight’s duration.

  • True Sight – Enhance: True Sight decreases Elemental Resistance. Does not stack with Blaze Wizard’s ‘s effect on party members or Battle Mage’s ‘s Elemental Resistance decrease effect.

  • True Sight – Guardbreak: Increases True Sight’s Defense Reduction.

  • Cosmic Shower/Burst – Reinforce: Increases Damage of Cosmic Shower and Cosmic Burst.

  • Cosmic Burst – Guardbreak: Increases Ignore Defense for Cosmic Burst.

  • Cosmic Shower – Persist: Increases the duration of Cosmic Shower.

  • Divide and Slash – Reinforce: Increases Damage of Solar Slash and Luna Divide.

  • Divide and Slash – Spread: Increases Max Enemies Hit for Solar Slash and Luna Divide.

  • Divide and Slash – Guardbreak: Increases Ignore Defense for Solar Slash and Luna Divide.

  • Blazing Assault/Luster Charge: Moves while instantly cutting enemies with the sword enveloped in the sun’s flame. Become temporarily invincible upon use. Shares cooldown with Luster Charge, and can be used by linking with Luster Charge once regardless of the stance within a set time after casting. If you linked from Luster Charge, you cannot link to Luster Charge. Stance does not change due to Equinox Cycle. Required Skill: Rising Sun/Falling Moon Lv. 1.

  • Glory of the Guardians: A ceremony for Cygnus Knights to prove their devotion to the Empress.

  • Cosmic Forge: Sharpens the blade with celestial energy to temporarily maximize combat ability and handle even more cosmic orbs at once. Not affected by cooldown reset effects. Required Skill: Soul Element Lv. 10.

5th Job Skills

  • Rift of Damnation: Creates a rift between the world of the living and the Underworld when used with Styx Crossing.

  • Soul Eclipse: Focus your wisdom and the strength of your soul to call forth a stunning eclipse. When the sun and the moon completely overlap, use the skill one more time to use Equinox Divide. Equinox Divide can be used while attacking with Solar Slash, Luna Divide, and Styx Crossing. The eclipse is unaffected by attack reflection.

  • Flare Slash: Unleash an explosive eruption of forged Spiritual Resin. Activates when your attack skill hits while in Falling Moon or Rising Sun stances. Cooldown is reduced when stance is changed with Equinox Cycle or Styx Crossing hits. Flare Slash is unaffected by attack reflection and cooldown reduction.

  • Cosmos: Unleash a swirl of a complete galaxy around you. Unaffected by attack reflection. Required Skill: Soul Element Lv. 10.

Blaze Wizard

1st Job Skills

  • Orbital Flame: Fly forward and project flame onto enemies around you. Use the arrow keys to direct. It’s a fire-attribute attack. Level 20 required to learn Greater Orbital Flame.

  • Flame Bite: Send out a jet of flame to burn enemies ahead of you. Required Skill: Fire Repulsion Lv. 1.

  • Firewalk: Jump into the air and disappear in a burst of flame, appearing some distance ahead. Permanently raises your Defense. Replaces Elemental Shift.

  • Flame Elemental: Use Blaze Wizard’s direct skill attack to temporarily summon a Flame Elemental which will increase your Magic ATT. Level 10 required to learn Greater Flame Elemental.

  • Fire Repulsion: The flow of flames repulses some of the damage from the caster.

  • Natural Talent: Increases your max MP through natural talent. Amount increased depends on your level.

2nd Job Skills

  • Greater Orbital Flame: Enhances damage and allows you to use up to 2 Orbital Flames at once. It’s a fire-attribute attack. Required Skill: Orbital Flame Lv. 20. Level 20 required to learn Grand Orbital Flame.

  • Flame Vortex: Burns enemies and pushes them back with swirling flames. Can be resisted by some monsters.

  • Orbital Explosion: Harness and release the essence of the flame. When Orbital Flame, Phoenix Drive, Orbital Inferno, or Inferno Sphere lands a certain number of times, the next attack will be an additional fire-attribute flame energy on hit. Can be toggled On/Off.

  • Flashfire: Leave a trail of fire from your current location. While the trail remains, you can use Flashfire again to teleport back to your original position.

  • Controlled Burn: Recover from the heat of battle and convert your internal flame to MP. Absorb the enemy’s MP when attacking with flame Magic skills. Absorption efficiency is reduced against bosses, resulting in less MP gained.

  • Word of Fire: Call on the hidden words of fire to increase Magic ATT and Attack Speed.

  • Greater Flame Elemental: Enhances Flame Elemental. Required Skill: Flame Elemental Lv. 10. Level 10 required to learn Grand Flame Elemental.

  • Spell Control: Your desire to push your magical skills to the limit gives you greater control over magic itself. Level 10 required to learn Pure Magic.

The following skills will be removed:

3rd Job Skills

  • Grand Orbital Flame: Enhances damage and allows you to use up to 3 Orbital Flames at once. Your proficiency with Fire magic increases after using it a certain number of times, and you gain use of an enhanced Orbital Flame. It’s a fire-attribute attack. Required Skill: Greater Orbital Flame Lv. 20. Level 20 required to learn Final Orbital Flame.

  • Flame Tempest: Damages and pushes enemies away from both sides of the caster with huge, surging flames. Can be resisted by some monsters.

  • Cinder Maelstrom: Manifests a flame imbued with the power of the phoenix and binds enemies by immobilizing them. Enemies hit by this will resist stuns for 90 seconds and won’t be stunned by other skills, such as Cinder Maelstrom.

  • Phoenix Run: When hit by a fatal attack, saves you by moving backwards and healing a percentage of HP through the blessing of fire. Not affected by Cooldown reset.

  • Burning Focus: Critically analyzes enemy weaknesses and increases the chance of landing fatal blows.

  • Brilliant Enlightenment: Reach enlightenment through command of magic.

  • Grand Flame Elemental: Greater Flame Elemental. Required Skill: Greater Flame Elemental Lv. 10 and above. Level 10 required to learn Final Flame Elemental.

  • Liberated Magic: Liberates the flame-flow from within you, allowing it to grow in power.

4th Job Skills

  • Call of Cygnus: Grants the blessings of Cygnus’s awakening to temporarily increase all stats for you and your party members. Does not stack with Maple Warrior, Call of Cygnus, Nova Warrior, Hero of the Flora, President’s Orders, Anima Warrior, or Rhinne’s Protection.

  • Cygnus Knights’ Will: Hone your resolve to ignore certain abnormal status effects. Immune to most abnormal status effects for 3 sec after use. Certain abnormal status effects and combat orders will still get through.

  • Final Orbital Flame: Enhances damage and allows you to use up to 4 Orbital Flames at once. You mastered Fire magic and using it a certain number of times allows use of an enhanced Orbital Flame. It’s a fire-attribute attack. Required Skill: Grand Orbital Flame Lv. 20. Level 30 required to learn Phoenix Drive.

  • Blazing Extinction: Launches an intense flame sphere that burns nearby enemies with seeking chains of fire.

  • Towering Inferno: Focuses the flow of nearby flames into one location and erupts a giant pillar of flame.

  • Fires of Creation: Summons the very essence of fire itself. Using this skill will call forth Blazing Lion. Using it with Down pressed will call forth Flame Fox. While the summoning is in effect, your MP costs increase, but your attacks ignore some enemy defense. Attack varies upon using Orbital Flame or Towering Inferno based on the Fire Essence summoned.

  • Burning Conduit: Creates a pentacle on the ground, increasing the damage and attack speed of everyone standing on it. You, and only you, can also receive the effects outside the pentacle.

  • Flame Barrier: Summons a powerful wall of flames to defend against debilitating status conditions.

  • Wild Blaze: Summon roaring flames to burn enemies. 

  • Final Flame Elemental: Enhances Grand Flame Elemental. Require Skill: Grand Flame Elemental Lv. 10.

  • Pure Magic: Unleash the very essence of your magic, releasing all its potential at once. Required Skill: Spell Control Lv. 10.

Hyper Skills

  • Orbital Flame – Range: Increases movement range of Orbital Flame. Can be toggled On/Off with the skill key.

  • Orbital Flame – Guardbreak: Grants Orbital Flame a bonus to Enemy DEF Ignored.

  • Orbital Flame – Split Attack: Increases Number of Attacks while decreasing Final Orbital Flame’s damage.

  • Blazing Extinction – Reinforce: Increases Damage of Blazing Extinction.

  • Blazing Extinction – Spread: Increases the max number of monsters hit by Blazing Extinction.

  • Blazing Extinction – Add Attack: Increases Blazing Extinction’s attack count.

  • Cataclysm: Summons a giant flame to fall on enemies around you. The flame bursts as it hits the ground and burns all nearby enemies. 

  • Glory of the Guardians: A ceremony for Cygnus Knights to prove their devotion to the Empress.

  • Phoenix Drive: Enhances Orbital Flame by unleashing the flow of fire to the extreme with the appearance of the phoenix. While active, using Orbital Flame bombards flames indiscriminately as the fiery energy overflows. Attack varies based on the Fire Essence summoned.

The following skills will be removed:

5th Job Skills

  • Orbital Inferno: Hurls a giant ball of flame that shoots forward before returning to you.

  • Savage Flame: Unleashes the true might of the Essence of Fire.

  • Inferno Sphere: Blaze through your enemies with the phoenix’s symbol of infinite life and death.

  • Salamander Mischief: Summon the fire of a playful salamander spirit. Salamander tracks a nearby enemy to attack when a direct skill attack by Blaze Wizard hits. In a single action, it either consumes all of the number of attacks or returns to the summoner’s location when it strays too far. Obtain Ember every time Salamander’s attack hits, and Salamander’s attack becomes stronger in proportion. You can get a Magic ATT increase buff in return for the Ember when Salamander disappears. This buff is not affected by Buff Freezer effects. Unaffected by attack reflection, and prioritizes boss with highest Max HP.

Wind Archer

1st Job Skills

  • Breeze Arrow: Fires off a wind-infused arrow.

  • Wind Walk: Your arrows walk on the wind, flying straight through any monsters they touch.

  • Gust Swift: Leap once more while already in the air. Press the up key at the same time to move upward. Required Skill: Wind Walk Lv. 1.

  • Storm Elemental: Summons a green wind element to gain its power. Can be toggled On/Off with the skill key.

  • Whispers of the Wind: Whispers of the wind teach you ancient knowledge of body and mind.

2nd Job Skills

  • Gust Shot: Fire off a speeding arrow in a straight line.

  • Spiraling Vortex: Fires a spiraling shot that drives enemies back. Some monsters will resist and will not be driven back.

  • Trifling Wind I: Summons the Spirit of Wind to confuse nearby enemies. Soul energy appears in the direction the Wind Archer is facing, except when using certain skills. Attacks by always including the boss with the highest Max HP within range. Can be toggled On/Off. Level 20 required to learn Trifling Wind II.

  • Sylvan Aid: The blessings of the Sylph give you a leg-up against your enemies.

  • Agile Bows: Increase Attack Speed and Dexterity. Required Skill: Bow Mastery Lv. 5.

  • Bow Mastery: Increases Bow Mastery and Final Damage. Level 10 required to learn Bow Expert. 

  • Physical Training: Permanently increases STR and DEX through sheer physical training.

The following skills will be removed:

  • Fairy Spiral

3rd Job Skills

  • Sentient Arrow: Creates a powerful gust using the emerald condensed with the power of wind as a medium to indiscriminately attack enemies on the left and right.

  • Pinpoint Pierce: Shoot off two arrows to strike the same enemy and weaken them. Targets the boss with the highest Max HP within range.

  • Trifling Wind II: Summons a spirit of the wind to attack nearby enemies. Soul energy appears in the direction the Wind Archer is facing, except when using certain skills. Attacks by always including the boss with the highest Max HP within range. Required Skill: Trifling Wind I Lv. 20. Level 20 required to learn Trifling Wind III.

  • Eagle Eye: Master the power of the legendary Albatross to boost your combat stats. Level 20 required to learn Albatross Hunt.

  • Emerald Flower: Summons a green crystal flower that attracts nearby enemies. Enemies intoxicated by the scent will be slowed. Lv 10 required to learn the 4th Job skill ‘Emerald Dust’.

  • Featherweight: Your body becomes as light as a feather, gaining freedom from enemy attacks.

  • Second Wind: Strengthens the soul and empowers the body.

4th Job Skills

  • Call of Cygnus: Grants the blessings of Cygnus’s awakening to temporarily increase all stats for you and your party members. Does not stack with Maple Warrior, Call of Cygnus, Nova Warrior, Hero of the Flora, President’s Orders, Anima Warrior, or Rhinne’s Protection.

  • Cygnus Knights’ Will: Hone your resolve to ignore certain abnormal status effects. Immune to most abnormal status effects for 3 sec after use. Certain abnormal status effects and combat orders will still get through.

  • Fairy Spiral: Swings the bow lightly in place as if dancing with the wind to create a strong gale that attacks enemies. Can be resisted by some enemies. Also boosts Sentient Arrow.

  • Song of Heaven: Play the song of heavens to sweep away enemies.

  • Trifling Wind III: Harass the enemies with constant gale-force winds. Soul energy appears in the direction the Wind Archer is facing, except when using certain skills. Attacks by always including the boss with the highest Max HP within range. Required Skill: Trifling Wind II Lv. 20.

  • Storm Bringer: Calls down a torrential storm on your enemies. Unaffected by attack reflection.

  • Sharp Eyes: Temporarily grants party members the ability to locate an enemy’s weak spot to deal critical damage to that enemy.

  • Touch of the Wind: Become one with the wind through a divine blessing.

  • Bow Expert: Increases Bow Mastery, Attack Power, Final Damage, Critical Damage, and Boss Damage.

  • Emerald Dust: Emerald Flower is enhanced to be more effective in battle. Required Skill: Emerald Flower Lv. 10.

  • Albatross Max: Borrow the power of the legendary Albatross. The passive effect is added to Albatross. Required Skill: Eagle Eye Lv. 20.

The following skills will be removed:

  • Spiraling Vortex

Hyper Skills

  • Trifling Wind – Reinforce: Increases Trifling Wind’s damage.

  • Trifling Wind – Enhance: Increases the chance to activate Trifling Wind.

  • Trifling Wind – Double Chance: Doubles the Spirit Arrows created per enemy. However, Spirit Arrows won’t be created beyond the max limit. If the number of enemies that can be attacked is at max, Spirit Arrows will only double for one target.

  • Fairy Spiral – Reinforce: Increases Damage of Fairy Spiral.

  • Fairy Spiral – Spread: Increases the max number of enemies hit by Fairy Spiral.

  • Fairy Spiral – Extra Strike: Increases the number of attacks for Fairy Spiral.

  • Howling Gale: Summons a ferocious gust to punish your enemies.

  • Merciless Winds: Calls upon the Spirit of Wind to conjure deadly homing projectiles that track down your foes.

  • Gale Barrier: Activate a wind barrier around yourself that will defend you and decimate your enemies. Creates a whirlwind when you attack to deal additional damage. Elemental is consumed upon defending against an attack and the wind barrier will disappear when it’s completely consumed. The whirlwind is unaffected by attack reflection.

  • Vortex Sphere: Condense powerful winds into a sphere, then launch it in a slow, straight line. A gust occurs periodically with the Vortex Sphere at the center, pulling in surrounding enemies. Unaffected by attack reflection.

Night Walker

1st Job Skills

  • Lucky Seven: Throw 7 lucky throwing stars to attack enemies in front.

  • Dark Elemental: Summons a dark element to gain its power. This skill can be toggled On/Off by using the skill key. Level 10 required to learn Adaptive Darkness.

  • Shadow Bat: Summons a Shadow Bat, which occasionally attacks when you do. Its attack rate is doubled against enemies marked with Darkness, and as many summoned bats attack as there are marks. 1 additional Shadow Bat is created at this time. This skill is unaffected by enemy attack reflection skills. Cannot be used at the same time as Ravenous Bat. It’s a dark-attribute attack. This skill can be toggled On/Off by using the skill key. Required Skill: Dark Elemental Lv. 1. Level 20 required to learn Bat Affinity.

  • Shadow Jump: Use while in the middle of a jump to jump twice in a row. Can also be used with the Jump Key. Also, the last attack of  throwing skills can be canceled with the Jump Key. If you’ve learned Dark Sight and used the Jump Key during the last attack of a throwing skill, Dark Sight will be activated automatically for a short time. With Action Customization enabled, hold the right or left arrow key while pressing the skill key to jump in the corresponding direction, otherwise you will jump in place. SP is not required for this skill, and it can be used upon job advancing to Night Walker. Action Customization On/ Off: Right-click.

  • Dark Sight: Hide in the shadows for a short time. While Dark Sight is active, you cannot be hit by enemies, but attacking will reveal you. The cooldown will change when Dark Sight is deactivated, depending on damage dodged. Using Shadow Jump does not deactivate Dark Sight. Press the skill key again to deactivate Dark Sight.

  • Shadow Dodge: Quickly move backwards. You can move in the air and during the last attack of throwing skills, and cannot be pushed back when moving. If you’ve learned Dark Sight and used it during the last attack of a throwing skill, Dark Sight will be activated automatically for a short time. SP is not required for this skill, and it can be used upon job advancing to Night Walker.

  • Haste: Permanently increases Speed, Jump, Max Speed, and Avoidability.

2nd Job Skills

  • Triple Throw: Throws 3 Throwing Stars in a row at the target. The last attack uses the power of Darkness to deal greater dark-attribute damage. The throwing stars attack the boss with the highest HP first.

  • Shadow Spark: Throws penetrating Throwing Stars imbued with the power of darkness. The stars explode when they are either at max range or all attackable enemies are attacked, dealing extra damage.

  • Agile Throwing: Increases Attack Speed and Luck. Required Skill: Throwing Mastery Lv. 5.

  • Throwing Mastery: Increases damage, Claw Mastery, and the max number of charges of your Throwing Stars. Level 10 required to learn Throwing Expert.

  • Critical Throw: Increases Critical Rate and Critical Damage. Required Skill: Throwing Master Lv. 3.

  • Physical Training: Permanently improves LUK through sheer physical training.

  • Adaptive Darkness: Deeper darkness further enhances the Marks of Darkness. Required Skill: Dark Elemental Lv. 10 or Higher. Lv. 10 required to learn Adaptive Darkness II.

  • Bat Affinity: Enhances the Shadow Bat through communion. Required Skill: Shadow Bat Lv. 20 or Higher. Level 20 required to learn Bat Affinity II.

3rd Job Skills

  • Quad Star: Throws 4 Throwing Stars in a row at the target. The last attack uses the power of Darkness to deal greater dark-attribute damage. The throwing stars attack the boss with the highest HP first.

  • Dark Servant: Summons a shadow which copies your actions after a short delay. The copied actions are limited to throwing stars and movement skills. Your shadow disappears when the summon time runs out. All attacks of the shadow are dark-attribute and can activate Marks of Darkness, Shadow Bats, or Ravenous Bats without being affected by attack reflection. Level 20 required to learn Shadow Illusion.

  • Darkness Ascending: When hit by a fatal attack, the power of darkness will restore you back to life. Not affected by Cooldown reset. Can be toggled On/Off.

  • Shadow Momentum: Gives the attack inertia to use throwing skills even faster, and increases Final Damage permanently. Obtain inertia by moving a certain distance, and the last attack can be canceled when using throwing skills consecutively. The higher the inertia level, the faster you can cancel. This buff is not affected by buff duration extension effects.

  • Bat Affinity II: Enhances the Shadow Bat through communion. Summons an enhanced Shadow Bat for every fixed number of bats in the place that was attacked to deal explosion damage. The enhanced Shadow Bat isn’t enhanced by Bat Affinity and Bat Affinity II, and is unaffected by attack reflection. Required Skill: Bat Affinity Lv. 20. Level 20 required to learn Bat Affinity III.

  • Enveloping Darkness: Cloak yourself in darkness, increasing Status Resistance, Elemental Resistance, and Knockback Resistance permanently.

  • Adaptive Darkness II: Deeper darkness further enhances the Marks of Darkness. Required Skill: Adaptive Darkness Lv. 10 or Higher. Level 10 required to learn Adaptive Darkness III.

  • Spirit Projection: Allows you to attack without consuming Throwing Stars, and increases Attack Power. The Throwing Stars in your inventory with the highest Attack Power will be used to calculate your damage. Throwing Star skills cannot be used if there are no Throwing Stars in your inventory.

  • Alchemic Adrenaline: Increases the effect of recovery items like potions. Does not work on percentage-based recovery items like elixirs. Also increases Critical Damage.

Cooldown decreases every time dark-attribute attacks succeed, except for Shadow Bat, Ravenous Bat, and Dark Omen. Unaffected by enemy damage reflection skills and cannot be pushed back when casting.

  • Shadow Stitch: Detonates condensed shadows to lock nearby enemies. Increases incapacitation in proportion to the condensed duration. Cannot be pushed back when condensing shadows. Unaffected by attack reflection.

  • Ravenous Bat: Summons a Ravenous Bat thirsting for more blood, which occasionally attacks when you do. As many summoned bats attack as there are enemies marked with Darkness. 1 additional Ravenous Bat is created at this time. It targets the boss with the highest HP first and is unaffected by attack reflection. Cannot be used at the same time as Shadow Bat. This skill can be toggled On/Off by using the skill key. Required Skill: Dark Elemental Lv. 1.

  • Bat Affinity III: Enhances the Shadow Bat through communion. Summons an enhanced Ravenous Bat for every fixed number of Ravenous Bats that deals more powerful damage. The enhanced Ravenous Bat isn’t enhanced by Bat Affinity, Bat Affinity II, and Bat Affinity III, and targets the boss with the highest HP first. 5th Job Skills

  • Shadow Spear: Gathers shadows on the ground to form a spear that pierces enemies.

  • Greater Dark Servant: Summons an immovable shadow. The shadow faces in the direction of the boss with the highest Max HP, or in the direction of the enemy with the highest Max HP if there is no boss, and mimics throwing-star attacks. It cannot be injured, and vanishes when its duration ends. You may activate the skill again to swap places with the shadow or use it with the down arrow key to re-summon the shadow to your current location. However, you cannot do this while in the air. A separate cooldown is applied when the shadow is called back. All attacks of the shadows are dark-attribute and unaffected by attack reflection. Capable of triggering Mark of Darkness, Shadow Bat, and Ravenous Bat.

  • Shadow Bite: Make your enemies’ shadows attack them and strip them of their power, temporarily increasing Final Damage. If Shadow Bat and Ravenous Bat can be summoned, the bats are created in the location of the enemies and immediately attack. The bats created by Shadow Bat aren’t enhanced. Required Skill: Bat Affinity III Lv. 30.

  • Rapid Throw: Toss countless throwing stars at blinding speed. If you use this skill in the air, you’ll hover while you toss them. Using Rapid Throw while Dark Sight is active does not deactivate Dark Sight. Rapid Throw is unaffected by Shadow Momentum’s inertia effect. Each throwing star is applied at most once to the throwing star skill count of Shadow Bat and Ravenous Bat. Consecutive throw attacks have higher damage even though the shadow from Shadow Spear isn’t formed.

Thunder Breaker

1st Job Skills

  • Lightning Punch: Throws a lightning-infused punch at enemies. Can be linked with all skills excluding Thunder and itself.

  • Flash: Charges into enemies to deal damage. Charges forward if there are no enemies. Can be linked with all skills excluding Thunder and itself. The casting action can be canceled by linking with Tidal Crash in the air.

  • Electrified: Utilize the power of lightning to become more agile. The power of lightning changes the appearance of Elemental Shift.

  • Shark Sweep: Tap the power of sharks to sweep up nearby mobs. Can be linked with all skills excluding Thunder and itself.

  • Tidal Crash: Surge forward like ocean waves to sweep up enemies in range. (Some monsters can resist the sweep effect). Can be canceled by holding the down key and pressing the skill key while surging forward. Can be linked with all skills, excluding Thunder and itself. The wave activates by canceling the skill that was used first. Some skills can link faster with Tidal Crash than other skills. Tidal Crash doesn’t generate Lightning Charge. With Action Customization enabled, you can cancel the skill by pressing its key again, without use of the arrow keys. Right-click to toggle Action Customization On/Off.

  • Sea Wave: Linking the skill imbues it with the power of lightning and creates a wave that flows towards the enemy. Sea Wave flows in the direction Thunder Breaker is facing when created, searching for the direction with more enemies to attack within a fixed range. Attacks enemies it runs into while flowing and is unaffected by attack reflection.

  • Agile Knuckles: Increases the Attack Speed of your knuckle. Required Skill: Knuckle Mastery Lv. 5. Level 10 required to learn Speed Infusion.

  • Knuckle Mastery: Increases Knuckle Mastery and Final Damage.

  • Gains: Enhances the body through tireless training.

Mihile

1st Job Skills

  • Shining Pierce: Materialize a sharp sword of light to pierce the enemy.

  • Royal Guard: Soul Shield nullifies enemy attacks and counterattacks. Counterattacks are unaffected by attack ignore and attack reflection. The Invincibility effect and Attack Power increase buffs are not affected by the Buff Duration increase effect. You can guard while using skills.

  • Weightless Heart: Use while in the middle of a jump to jump even farther. The higher this skill’s level, the farther you will jump. Can be activated with the Jump key.

  • Soul Shield: Amplifies Soul Shield’s power to have strength in enduring the enemy’s attack. Level 10 required to learn Soul Asylum.

  • Soul Devotion: Permanently increases Movement Speed and Jump. Required Skill: Soul Shield Lv. 1.

  • Righteous Indignation: Inflict more fatal damage with the power of light when attacking enemies with Blind. Level 15 required to learn Advanced Righteous Indignation.

  • Soul Link: Connect your soul to nearby allies to unify and bolster your powers. Periodically enhances party members in the Soul Link’s range when Soul Link is active. When Royal Guard’s counterattack succeeds, party members in the Soul Link’s range are protected. Can be toggled On/Off.

  • Advanced Royal Guard: Enhances Royal Guard to do a powerful counterattack when guarding multiple hits in a row. Better control of the Soul Shield enhances your ability to endure enemy attacks. Required Skill: Encourage Lv. 20.

  • Self Recovery: Regularly recover some HP and MP, even in combat.

  • Loyal Oath: Harden your loyal oath to the Empress.

  • Advanced Righteous Indignation: Enhances the effect of Righteous Indignation to inflict more fatal damage on the enemy with the power of light. Required Skill: Righteous Indignation Lv. 15.

  • Offensive Defense: The power of the shield protecting the Empress makes enemies vulnerable to Mihile’s Radiant Soul. Enemies hit with Royal Guard’s counterattack receive a debuff. Using Radiant Soul skill to attack enemies with the debuff creates a light shockwave that does an additional attack. The light shockwave is centered on the boss with the highest Max HP among those hit with the Radiant Soul skill. If there is no boss, then it’s centered on the closest enemy among those hit. Level 20 required to learn Advanced Offensive Defense.

  • Expert Sword Mastery: Maximizes mastery of one-handed swords while increasing Critical Damage, Attack Power, and Critical Rate. Required Skill: Sword Mastery Lv. 10.

  • Advanced Final Attack: Permanently increases Attack Power. Greatly increases the damage and activation rate of your Final Attack. Required Skill: Final Attack Lv. 20.

  • Radiant Soul: Draw on your soul power and imbue your sword with a radiant light. You can use Radiant Soul Slash with a regular attack while equipping Radiant Soul. Using Action Customization allows you to use Radiant Soul Slash with a regular attack or Radiant Cross. By reusing the skill, you can use Light Force Rei, which emits intense light, one time. The afterimage of the sword is unaffected by attack reflection. Action Customization Lock: Right-click.

  • Light of Courage: Inspire your allies and scorch your enemies with the light of unfailing courage.
