Read Letsholonyane’s Notable Advice To Zitha Kwinika.. A man who formed part of the last Amakhosi side to clinch the league title seven years ago, Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane, has shared some advice for the club’s new signing, Zitha Kwinika.
Chiefs announced the return of Kwinika on Monday afternoon alongside Ashley Du Preez, much to the delight of new coach Arthur Zwane.
Letsholonyane, who knows Kwinika from Soweto, Meadowlands, believes the newly-signed Chiefs defender has all the right qualities to succeed at the club.
“I think he knows already what to expect, he had experienced the environment with the club first hand, and he knows exactly the demands that come with that team, and it is a good thing that he left and got experience from the teams that he played for,” said Letsholonyane on the sidelines of the FIFA World Cup trophy tour at Lanseria International Airport on Saturday.
The Soweto giants deemed Kwinika surplus to requirements a few years ago, and Letsholonyane is of the view that the experience he gained from playing for Chippa United, Bidvest Wits, Richards Bay, and most recently Stellenbosch will come in handy at a big club like Amakhosi.
“I am sure he will deal with the challenges much better now. I am convinced he has grown and matured enough now.
