Tyson Fury is in talks to stage an undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk in the Middle East

Tyson Fury is in talks to stage an undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk in the Middle East…  Tyson Fury is in negotiations over a stunning undisputed clash against Oleksandr Usyk in the Middle East, according to his promoter Bob Arum.

The Gypsy King was preparing to face Dillian Whyte in a mandatory defence of his WBC belt this Spring, but Arum has revealed the ‘total chaos’ of an offer to crown the first undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

The sensational development could see both Whyte and Anthony Joshua, who was set to rematch Usyk in April, step down to make the showdown happen.

‘It is total chaos,’ Arum told talkSPORT. ‘What’s happening is just promises coming out of the Middle East about doing a unified fight with Usyk and Fury, and is Dillian Whyte going to step aside.

‘And people that have absolutely no contractual ties – like Frank Warren’s Queensberry and our Top Rank do – are getting involved.’

When asked which of Usyk or WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte he believes Fury will fight next, Arum replied: “I have absolutely no idea.

“Who are these people in the Middle East? And what’s their backing and all of that stuff? That’s not clear.

“All I know is that the contract with Tyson Fury is with Frank Warren’s Queensberry and Top Rank.

“Nobody has talked to us about buying out rights or getting our permission to go ahead.”
